Crump Architects is an experienced studio Practice based in Hobart Tasmania, specialising in residential and Commercial architecture. Nathan Crump, Ryan Cawthorn and TOMMY YEO have a Combined 40+ years of experience, having worked together on a multitude of projects at nathan’s Previous Practice Room 11. Offering full architectural services across a range of scales, Crump Architects have many completed projects and Pride ourselves on our thoughtful design, open communication and professionalism.

Nathan Crump

With over 15 years experience and a former director/founder of room11 Architects, Nathan brings a wealth of knowledge to his Practice with clear design resolution, technical expertise and strong project administration skill.

Nathan is a clear communicator and has an ingrained desire to design both liveable and buildable architecture. Having himself worked on a number of houses and projects his ‘hands on’ experience benefits his detailing and overall approach to enduring architecture.

Ryan Cawthorn

Upon graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania in 2010 Ryan has been a valuable team member of multiple award winning architectural practices in Hobart, with experience across a wide range of projects ranging in both budget and scale from small residential, through to educational and larger public infrastructure projects.

Having a sound understanding of the design and construction industry, Ryan has experience in project delivery from initial inception, concept design and feasibility studies, through documentation and to construction. Whilst also having proficient graphic presentation skills which have proven invaluable for design communication and consultation processes through the various stages of project realisation.

A love of all facets of Architecture, Ryan is also a keen yachtsman and avid bookworm; he joins Crump Architects after a period of living/working and traveling abroad, where he looks forward to bringing these experiences with him to his work and hitting the ground running.
